2 go to the Font selector and open the dropdown
3 pick the font and color you want

Yes I tried that. thanks but still the table font doesn't' match with my map font..
but can you make only few states ? not all the state.
As far as I know no: When you reset the formatting inside and select "Automatic" from outside (not Match Color), automatically the light coloured states' text should be black, and dark coloured states' text should be white.
yes.. I tried that. the square (table like) format does it for me.. but not the map format gives me that..

For non-map visualizations, the mark labels with formatting set to "automatic" will color flip, as Hakan described above. However this does not happen for mark labels on maps, which is why you're noticing a difference in mark colors between your table and map. If you set your table mark label formatting to black rather than automatic, or both to "match mark color" then you will get the same formatting for the labels.
