In order to only receive t on days that it happens again, you will need to have a visualization and only show the relative date, e.g. the most recent date. You then set up the alert over there.

Another question in that subject:
I want to provide an alert for a customer, where she will know every time a new data is coming in her domain.
I built a special view, where it is =1 when there is some new data, and = 0 where there's non.
in addition i filtered the data to show me only last day.
the problem is that the current view is nothing (since there is no data today), and therefor i can't create the alert,
do you have any solution for that?
