Calculations being removed when data source published

I'm trying to submit a support ticket for this, but just getting a form error saying "There was a problem processing your request. Please try again." so I'm posting it here instead.

I have a workbook with four calculations that depend on two measures and two user filters. I create these in Tableau Desktop, then publish the data source to Tableau Online, with the workbook updating to use the published data source.

However, instead of still being calculations once published, they are replaced with a database column (called [Calculation_892275691974324225] or similar) which has a static value based only on the publishing user's values for the user filters.

We're using the user filters to give each user a personalised report, but now it only works for the report creator. This used to work, but has always been iffy - now I can't get it to work at all. Has something changed in 10.4? Does anyone do something similar to this? If so, how do you get it to work?

      Thanks in advance!
