What does your source data look like?
Is exchange a dimension having exc1, exc2, etc as items in that column. Or are the exchanges column names for measures? Does that make sense?
And are the volumes in this table being summed across other dimensions (like maybe time or date)?
I think Deepak Rai's method of pivoting is a good way of doing it. But for some reason if you cant pivot your data, you can use a TRUE/FALSE to check for each Exchage if the exchage is more than 0 or not. And then see how many Trues you got.
here is my approacch.
This will give you True when Exchage is not equal to Zero. Once you got this, you can bring this dimension on to the worksheet and do a count of Trues and Falses.
I am also attaching the twbx file. Hope this helps.
ExchageCount.twbx 14.8 KB
That works. Thanks for your help!
Good!!! Can you mark my answer CORRECT to close Thread.
