This really does like a resolution issue with your new laptop, did you try the following things:
- Change the resolution option of your computer
- Install the latest drivers for your laptop
Since the dashboard looks the same on another similar laptop, this does not look like a Tableau related issue.
Hope this helps!
Please check the resolution and text size of both the machines. "Text Size" of machine plays important role in layout.
You can learn to change text size here How to Change Font Size in Windows 10 « Windows Tips :: Gadget Hacks .
Make sure all your other machines have the same text size and resolution as the machine you have created dashboards.
Thanks Matthias and Parikshit!
This morning when I opened up the laptop I changed the resolution of the new laptop to that of the old one and whilst everything on the screen looked all blurry and all, my Tableau dashboard now looks as it should
But then on my new laptop I switched it back to the recommended resolution and again funnily enough it stayed that way!
Didn't work this way last week even after I played around with resolutions! Not sure why that is but I'm glad this is sorted now so thanks for your advice!
Following my previous post, I should also add that I needed to adjust the text size on the display settings from 150% to 100% in order to make the dashboards look identical, so it wasn't enough to simply adjust the resolution. Now they're identical
Thanks for the badge. Really appreciate.
