# replicating excel

Hi All,

I need to replicate the graph below. Really appreciate if you can help me.

I am unable to add the run-rate. attached is my workbook.

• ###### 1. Re: replicating excel

can you send a 9.3 version file ? or upload the orig data ?

• ###### 2. Re: replicating excel

Hi,

Attached is the data source for your reference.

Hi,

this is what I was able to get to. Somethings in Tableau are not possible. You have Act Acc and Act iso as side by side bar chart and also have a line charts of FC values. In tableau you have to have Month (F1) as discrete to have a side by side bar chart. Then you cant have a line chart because, line chart is only possible when the axis is continuous. So, please let me know if this is alrighht for you. I am also attaching the workbook.

Hi Kalyan,

Thank you for the reply. This is really good. However, what is important here is to add the run-rate at the end.

It's not in the data source but a formula is to be created.

(((RUNNING_SUM(SUM([Act Iso]))*12)/RUNNING_SUM(COUNTD([Month]))))

You are showing only one bar for Run rate. Is that for dec ?

• ###### 7. Re: replicating excel

I used the below formula to show the run rate at Dec.

IF MAX(DATEPART('month', [F1])) = 12 THEN

(((RUNNING_SUM(SUM([Act Iso]))*12)/RUNNING_SUM(COUNTD(DATEPART('month', [F1])))))

END

here is the screenshot of it.
