Union not unioning datetime correctly - rounding issue?

    Damon Rand

      Hi there,

I was wondering if someone can help me with the attached workbook (Tableau 10.3.2) which shows the union issue I'm having.

I am unioning several sheets within an Excel workbook. I am linking on a field called Clocktime which is of type datetime.

My measures are in 5min intervals. I find that measures on the _same_ sheets align every row (every 5mins) but measures on different sheets align every 45 minutes (every 9 rows of data).

It looks like datetime rounding error?

I find that I can partially workaround it by converting Clocktime to a string then back to a datetime. But when I do this measures align most of the time but not always.

      Different datetime rounding error?
