    Cannot connect to Tableau Server. Please check the server name and port and try again

      Experiencing issue in connecting to Tableau online via Tableau Desktop, following error is occurred.  This error happening intermittently.

       

      • Cannot connect to Tableau Server. Please check the server name and port and try again.
      • Internet communication error: Couldn't connect to server (online.tableau.com).

       

      The machine is open to the internet on 80 and 443 there is no proxy, antivirus or firewall .

       

      Wondering if anyone experienced the similar issue and have a working solution to fix the problem ?
