Tried to achieve this using Pivot data.
1. Added new data source (using same excel) and converted it to Pivot.
2. Move date to Column (convert to week and discrete)
3. Move Pivot field name to rows like:
4. Create a calculated column for number of Tickets using COUNTD(Ticket ID) and pull it to text pill.
Please find attached sample workbook.
Hope that helps.
Thanks for your help. I've never used the pivot feature before. How easily automated is it? If I need to refresh the data, will I also need to refresh the secondary data source on which the pivot "Date" field was created?
There is no secondary data. You just simply connect the datasource and it will automatically pivot the data as it is.
The dataset I submitted has two date fields- open and closed- and in your twbx you have one date field. Sunil added a secondary data source and connected it. You said that wasn't necessary but your solution doesn't match the data type I had.
How do I plot the counts in one view into one without adding a secondary data source like Sunil did?
