# Creating a one vs rest average comparison with option of dynamic selection

Hi All,

I have data of traffic (online traffic) for different sources (fb, twitter etc) , I want to see viz which  has one source  vs rest of the sources avg time spent , with a dynamic Source selection option.

I am stuck on how to create a calculated field which sums up values for the rest of the sources and leave the one specified alone, I am thinking of creating 5 calculated fields each having values for the sales for that particular source  and use them in creating a final calculated field to display the above o/p, but I feel there must be better method out there.

I am attaching the workbook for replication.

Hey Sravan,

Whenever I select any other option other than Linkdin I am getting only one graph and null in the color filter, can you please explain your method as well.

Hi Abhishiek,

Hi Sravan,

Thank you for the solution, I was able to replicate somewhat same reulst by using the calculation

IIF([Source] = [Selected Source],[[Source],"Others") and draginf it on colors, but the colors keeps on changing for selected source and others, also how did you mark the highest and lowest points of graph to be displayed always.

Could you place a look at my attempt in sheet titled "One vs All"  and let me know how can I fix the color and display max and min for each line.

Hi Abhishiek,

You can Align color  manually for each member in Source Dimension  by double clicking on the color legend...
