You are actually asking a very different question even though it seems like a similar one.
You want to pass the measure name in the filter action, which I don't know can be done, or if it can be done, how to do it.
I am going to branch this to a totally new thread so that it gets visibility all participants on the board.
Thanks for moving the thread.
Hoping someone comes along with some sort of solution or idea. I'm guessing it involves many Calculated Fields, one for each measure we would like to see...
Joe is right, but If you don't mind and your data allows, you can do it with duplicating data source.
Use Union to duplicate.
Create detail worksheet with adding "Measure Name Merged"
Thanks for the detailed approach. It's not the best for my data, as I have many data sources and many measures, so it is not that scalable, but it's a neat workaround for easy data.
I would ask you to imagine a slightly different problem than this one, if you don't mind:
Instead of acting upon a specific measure on the line chart (the same I've posted), I want to be able to, whichever line I click on, it would prompt me to a dashboard with 3 charts (one for each measure) and, within each chart, I want to see a line for each dimension we want to see (Ship Mode, Region and Segment). So, 3 charts with 3 lines. I reckon this is a much more easy task, but I'm struggling to get the calculated fields for calculating each measure to the different level of detail. Will I have to have parameters to do the setting?
I'll upload the same workbook for easy reference.
Anyone willing to give it a go?
Thanks and have a nice day,
