Cannot mix aggregate and non-aggregate results in IF expressions

I'm using Tableau 9.2 with two data sources. One data source has a correct settlement type for a specific set of transactions.

Hence, I created a calculation field (SETTLEMENT TYPE) in the NTP REPORTING QUERY data source to refer to the correct settlement type in SET-TYPE data source

Then another calculation field (SETTLEMENT) in NTP REPORTING QUERY to refer to the SET TYPE settlement based on a set of criteria else use the standard settlement

It keeps on giving me an error because SETTLEMENT TYPE is ATTR (AGG)

How do I get around it with two data sources?
