Hey Daniel Shaish,
New SSL certificates with a stronger encryption were implemented to Tableau URLs, which help prevent future attacks and vulnerabilities. These updates were required to comply with an upcoming Microsoft SHA-256 compatibility deadline.
If you experience this error on a Mac, the computer might be missing the Thawte Primary Root CA - G3 root certificate, or the certificate is not trusted. If this is causing the error, as mentioned above, make sure the system is up-to-date.
To check for system updates:
- On the Apple menu, System Preferences.
- Depending on the OS X version, select System Updates or App Store.
- (Optional but recommended) Select Automatically check for updates.
- Download any updates that the system indicates are available, particularly security updates.
If updating the system through the system preferences does not resolve the problem, you might need to update the Thawte Primary Root CA - G3 manually.

I am also having this issue. I have confirmed that the certificate mentioned above matches the one that I can download directly from the Thawte site.
What is the next avenue to resolve this issue?
