I have not heard of this behavior before. Does the extract ever fail with an error message of any kind? What type of data refresh is being attempted, a full refresh, or incremental?
I am experiencing the same issue. I am using a time-stamp column to schedule incremental refresh on weekday mornings.
I do not get any error message pertaining to extract refresh failure.
Nikhil Paul , just so we all understand, sudhakar reddy is talking about FULL refreshes and you're talking about INCREMENTAL refreshes. Incremental refreshes are expected to have zero or more row additions.
Are you saying that your incremental refreshes are failing when using the Amazon red shift database as a data source? Are you using Tableau Online or Tableau Server? What version?
