In tableau desktop from menu g o to -->analysis tab -->totals-->disable show cloumn /row grand totals.
Yes but this way it wont happen when i filtrate information in a dynamique way.
Indeed for me it is not a problem but if a client filtrate i do not want him to do this steps to see the result i want to show him.
Thank you for you answer but it is not what I am looking for, I would like the total to disappear WHEN i use my filter, without other actions to do.
Victor, I'm still thinking this through, but a combination of a parameter and sheet-swapping may be your best option for this.
I believe the only way to dynamically enable/disable Labels is to switch a viz WITH labels for a viz WITHOUT labels. I don't think Tableau exposes that functionality for a single viz. Could be wrong, but I'm not aware of it if it is possible.
If you don't know what Sheet Swapping is, take a look here:
Thank you i will try with a sheet swapping.
Victor, I'm sorry, I just realized I misinterpreted what you were asking. You want the TOTAL Column to disappear, right?
That MIGHT be a little easier. Is Total calculated automatically by Tableau (Analysis, Show Row/Column Totals), or by you explicitly via a calculated field, or is it a column in the data source?
Total is the one calculated by Tableau.
Can you please attached the twbx file?
