Hi Matt,
Find my approach as reference below and stored in attached workbook version 10.0 located in the original thread.
1. Delta:DATEDIFF('minute',[Start],[End])/60/24

matt.daldoss Jun 12, 2017 12:21 PM (in response to Norbert Maijoor)Hi Norbert, this was very helpful. Thank you for the start. I took what you did and added a date and filter. My question is, I'd like the axis to show 6AM-8PM for each day. But when I change the filter, the axis stays on the original date and doesn't show the chart. I've attached my workbook. Any thoughts.

matt.daldoss Jun 13, 2017 6:05 AM (in response to matt.daldoss)Another question, if appointments have the same starting time for the same office, is it possible for the bars to stack on top of each other? Or how can I depict two appointments that coincide with each other? Thank you

Hi, Matt
It may show as overlap, but depends on how your data looks like. If you could make up another workbook, it will be easier for us to help.

matt.daldoss Jun 13, 2017 8:05 AM (in response to Zhouyi Zhang)If you look at the attached workbook, for 6/14, there are overlapping appointments for the South office: 12-1:30 and 1-2:30. The second appointment (green) looks like it starts at 1:30 on the axis because the first appointment (blue) is over-top.

matt.daldoss Jun 14, 2017 6:24 AM (in response to Zhouyi Zhang)Thanks for the reply ZZ. The ID is actually the appointment ID. Some days we have 50+ appointments at one office so that would not represent the same thing in a few lines. I think I will just do some borders to better show this. My only issue will be, if you have overlapping appointments, the tooltip can only show the details for the top one.

Muralidhar Areti Jun 14, 2017 10:12 AM (in response to matt.daldoss)There are many blogs out there that show you how to create a calendar in Tableau. A quick search on Google using the terms: "Tableau make a calendar" gave me a bunch of results.
The first result below is a solid one:
