You are almost there. One condition is that the image names must be alphabetic, so they can be properly sorted. Tableau is actually matching the shapes in the correct order which you inadvertently specified. The problem is that the file names are numerals.
Apparently, numeric file names are sorted differently than how you would imagine. For example Tableau will order the files as 1.jpg, 10.jpg, 11.jpg, 12.jpg, 13.jpg, 14.jpg, 15.jpg, 16.jpg, 17.jpg, 18.jpg, 19.jpg, 2.jpg, 20.jpg, 21.jpg,........etc.
To avoid this sorting issue, you have to change all image names to letters or a combination of alphabets and numbers like AA10200 etc. I suggest you first load the image names into Tableau and sort ascending to make sure they are correctly sorted, then name your files in that order.
