    Dealing with large extracts

Hi Team, I am creating a tableau dashboard for my client of four screens with full interactivity,I created extract instead of live connection. What I observe it took 45 minutes to create extract with 1.6GB and taking so much time to reflect in dashboard. If I click on a chart or apply filter or click on any graph it is taking three to four minutes to refresh and showing 'Processing Request' which is not good .  I tried delete unused columns, created required filters in DB, created proper join between tables, replaced null values, using default formatting, using parameters where ever it is possible but still my dashboard is slow. Please help me out with tips to improve the performance of the dashboard.  I am using Tableau Desktop 10.1 and my RAM size is around 10GB.

      Thanks - Vamsi
