    Python packages installation for VizAlerts

    Shafi Mohammad

      Hello,

      I'm trying to install the python packages for VizAlerts but for some reason I'm unable to install the twilio package.

      When I try installing the twilio package I get the below error.

      Command python setup.py egg_info failed with error code 1 in c:\users\smoham23\a
      ppdata\local\temp\pip_build_smoham23\cffi
      Storing debug log for failure in C:\Users\smoham23\pip\pip.log

      As the documentation says that twilio and phonenumberslite are optional packages, is there a way to get vizalerts to work without having these two packages installed?

      I'm able to install requests, requests_ntlm and pypdf2 packages.

      In the current state, when I test run python vizalerts.py I get the below error:

      E:\Software\VizAlertsv2.0.1>python vizalerts.py

      Traceback (most recent call last):

        File "vizalerts.py", line 28, in <module>

          from vizalert import emailaction

        File "E:\Software\VizAlertsv2.0.1\vizalert\emailaction.py", line 29, in <modul

      e>

          import vizalert

        File "E:\Software\VizAlertsv2.0.1\vizalert\vizalert.py", line 21, in <module>

          import smsaction

        File "E:\Software\VizAlertsv2.0.1\vizalert\smsaction.py", line 7, in <module>

          import twilio

      ImportError: No module named twilio

      Is there a way to skip the installation of these two packages?

      Thanks,

      Shafi
