The problem may be that there is no data in your view. In that case titles and captions will be shrunk, the view will not fill the container. You need at least one mark / data point.
Or you may have manually sized the column of data to be very narrow. That will also prevent it from filling the view. Worksheet > Clear > Manual Sizing might help.
I tried what you suggested to clear manual sizing in the worksheet. But there is still problem.
One problem is the data move to one side of the view as below.
Another problem is after clearing manual sizing, the par chart is too small on the dashboard (the pie on the right).
Any idea why?
Hi Goldie, it looks like you may be using a floating layout rather than a tiled layout. I have no experience with floating layouts, we always use tiled layouts, so no dashboard elements overlap any others.
Is there any way you could save your workbook as a TWBX, then extract all your data-sources, then save again as a TWBX to make sure they're in there, then post that to this forum?
Thanks for your reply. I am using tiled layout for all the data sheets except the legend for this chart.
Unfortunately the packaged workbook is huge and the business data can't be posted to public. I will see if I could replicate this issue using sample data and then post.
