Another idea is to use floating containers instead of tiled ones.
See if it works for you.

This didn't work.

This worked!
However, all existing dashboards are facing this problem, so I don't want to modify each of them

1 of 1 people found this helpfulLei - I'd get onto Support about this one especially if its affecting all dashboards.
We had a few minor issues when we upgraded from 9.0.3 to 10.1.1 such as legends on dashboards that had their titles hidden, then showed the titles resulting in the legend becoming squashed with scrollbars. I never raised this, since it didn't affect everything and we just react when we notice it, but obviously in your case this isn't possible.
I'm mentioning this as it's another example of dashboard presentation issues and suggests there may be some lack of validation in this area...

Zach Leber Mar 2, 2017 1:08 PM (in response to lei.chen.0)We're seeing the same problem with Server 10.2. Desktop 10.2 is okay. It's borders around layout containers and widgets that are getting clipped. We've got a case into tech support also.

jamesambler Mar 3, 2017 3:58 AM (in response to lei.chen.0)Also seeing this with all container borders on all dashboards hosted in our Online site (not Desktop), since upgrade to v10.2. Have also raised support ticket plus spoken with account manager directly. Hopefully there will be a bug fix release soon!

9. Re: Container boders collapsed after upgrading Tableau Server from 10.1 to 10.2
Zach Leber Mar 7, 2017 9:43 AM (in response to lei.chen.0)Tableau support confirms engineering is working on a fix, Issue ID: 615915.
Easy to reproduce this on Server or Online, I sent them the attached workbook created in 10.2. Publish it and you will see the border breaks.

Zach Leber Apr 6, 2017 7:31 AM (in response to ling.niu)10.2.1 is released and it fixes the container border problem for us. The fix is not listed in the release notes however. I will let tech support know that. Tableau Online got the fix a few days ago.
