Hi Amanda Goodman,
I'm sorry to hear about that.
Have you tried to re-upload the workbook on tableau public?

Yes, tried to save it a few times, and still the same. Also, noticed the same has happened to another workbook I saved down. Its as though Tableau Public saved down version is not recognising when the y-axis has been edited to not show zero.
Very strange as both these workbooks were fine a few weeks ago, so something must have changed in Tableau Public recently.
I have the same problem! Just uploaded my Makeover Monday viz and had my y-axis on an area chart forced to zero. I tried resetting the axis and re-uploading, but that did not solve it.
I have done a quick test - 2 graphs, 1 a line graph, 1 a graph with area filled in as below....
I save this to Tableau Public and looks like this....
As you can see, on the area graph, when I see it in Tableau the y-axis is the same as the line graph. However, as soon as I save it to Tableau Public the y-axis I have set to not include zero does not work. Is this a known bug, as seems to be a very recent thing?
I am having the same problem (I assume because of the area graph per your post). Did you ever find a solution? If so, would you post it here? Thanks.
Perhaps not the best solution, but perhaps a workaround would be to set the minimum y value to something just slightly larger than 0, like 0.000001. I was going to try it with your viz, but unfortunately you've disabled the ability to download it.
I contacted Tech Support and the issue has been fixed in Tableau Desktop since version 10.2.1 ("Include Zero" Checkbox Has no Effect When Editing an Axis for an Area Mark Chart | Tableau Software ), and it will soon be fixed in Tableau Public.
