Since our customerID's come from an Oracle Database, I have created a custom query to output lines in the tabcmd format into a .bat file. If the customerID list never changes you can set up your .bat file once and just run as needed.
"E:\Program Files\Tableau\Tableau Server\9.0\bin\tabcmd" export "<workbook>/<view>?<parameter1>=<parameter 1 value>&<parameter2>=<parameter 2 value>" --fullpdf --pagelayout landscape -f "C:\<Output File Directory>" --server <server address> --user <Username> --password <Password> --no-cookie --timeout 500
If you have the list of customerID's in excel you could do something similar to create the .bat file and have that run.
Thanks for your suggestion Khang. Do you think it is also possible to have the customer id in the PDF file name? So that file name's are different for each customer.
You can have the customer id in the PDF file name, you would just need to adjust the part in my example "C:\<Output File Directory>" to include the name as well. If you are manually making this .bat file I'm sure you could make each line easier for yourself by doing something in excel where one column has the Customer ID and the next column is dynamic with the ID inserted where it needs to be.
