I have some very large data sets that I'm going to be visualizing with Tableau. Given a little work I can have the data as either an excel file or a SAS data set.
Given that these files are going to be quite large, I was wondering if anybody had some insight as to which Tableau will connect to "faster." Is Tableau's connection speed determined by the size or type of the file to which it is connecting or the number of rows & columns in the table?
