From a conclusion, it's quite troublesome.
Why not try something less Excel-like
However, as to this typical view, I think it's worth considering for Tableau to implement.
I am also asked from my colleague this request.
I know there is some technical difficulty, but this type of view is quite common in other VIZ software,
including one of competitor of Domo.
Ladies & gentelmen,
I beg your pardon.
This is not the result I'd like to share.
Line points are not aligned because of the X-Axis
(I missed that point completely).
Trying to cope.
hi yuriy could you please help me out how to create the side by side and line chart in a single sheet. below is the link can you look into it.
I am sorry if you were preparing..
Nope, i'm not :-)
I am having the same issue as David but your solution worked for me, the only thing I am not able to do is those numbers on x-axis (1,2,3,) I want those as my respective dates.
I wanted my graph like this:
After your using approach I got like this in tableau:
But as you can see the x-axis is numbers 1,2,3,4 but I want month & year like the one shown in 1st figure.
Kindly let me know if you do have a solution.
Thanks in advance
I'd like to see your data first.
From the pictures i would tell that you're using
some other Dimensions (other than Year) in Color,
so your view layout (the Pills used on it) may be different.
Please share your workbook
(using sample or fake data).
I'll take a look.
Hey Yuriy, Please find the attached workbook and excel file in the above post.
I was getting something like 'sheet 3' previously before using your approach but after using your approach I got the one in 'sheet 1' (attached workbook)
And I want x-axis to be labeled as per the 'sheet 3'
