Thanks Tharashasank Davuluru,
But what I wanted to ask is if we "do not" use the third party connector (your suggestion is to add the connector from a third party which only free for 30days....). Is there any other ways to connect netsuite on Tableau? Such as the suitetalk? or the webservices?
Thanks a lot.
I just started using these forums but in case anyone is looking for this in the future. NetSuite has a ODBC package called SuiteAnalytic Connect that allows Tableau direct access to the system. Fair warning: the NetSuite (jerks) charges extra for it.
Thanks for the info Amanda.
Have you started using SuiteAnalytic Connect?
Is it connecting ALL DATA or data from reports? Saved searches?
Would love to hear your feedback if using :-)
I have the connection up and running and it appears to pull everything--in my case 351 tables (including ones with no values). From there I get to recreate the visuals I was running from exported reports.
My company does not have a map of the table relationships so weeding through it is a bit of a headache and the fields can be confusing-but that could be the fault of whoever set up my system. :\
If you end up using it and find some shortcuts let me know--until then I'm spending quality time with my head on my desk.
I've used a successful Tableau connector from www.tacticalconnect.com It took 15 minutes to setup and works using saved searches. ODBC didn't work for us!
