# Total keeps changing based on filter conditions.

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to create a stacked bar chart where I am calculating the first bar as percent of total and the adjacent bar I am calculating the percent of current value of sales with total of all sales for all regions and segments which is not working. I want the total value for all regions and segments should be fixed but it keeps on changing with filter selection and as a result both bars show the same value. To be more clear  I want my output to look like Example: Binders 22%(percent of total),3%(for all regions and segments) etc.Attached the workbook.

Regards.

Hi Norbert,

Goodmoring Satyavathi,

I would like to understand exactly what you are aiming for.

Two indicators

What i understand is the following

a. the sales of each Sub-category-year "combination" divided by the total sales (all Sub-category-year combinations) in the datasource

b. the sales of each Sub-category-year "combination" divided by the total sales of each Sub-category in the datasource

Hope to hear from you.
