What kind of analysis are you doing based on the results you used to get?
I’ll load the results into a db table that have a GUI for administration purposes (Active flag, grouping, etc). We use the table as a part of nightly ETL, so when the source tables are processed it will query our data source admin tableau and kick-off all the extracts tied to that ETL job. Our jobs finish at different times, so will allow us to push extracts as soon as the underlying data is available.

FYI, it you REALLY want those old crusty XML files, you can turn the wgserver process back on (which is now OFF by default)...but you're spinning up another process and wasting resources if you do so
