Using more than 1 excel spreadsheet in Tableau Public 10.1

      Hi there,

I recently downloaded the new public version of Tableau 10.1.3

I used to be able to use multiple different spreadsheets of differing cell lengths and join them on a common field like 'Date'.

I now seem to be restricted to joining different tables in the data source section. I have a main sheet of 10,277 rows which i have added. I then have a second sheet of about 30 rows with relevant information. Tableau now tries to merge the two sheets so they have the same number of rows, completely mucking up the data.

Is this a new restriction of Public whereby users can no longer use multiple spredsheets of different row length in Tableau?

      Please help!!
