Have you tried using the LOOK UP and ZN? For example, if you are summing up sales Week Over Week then you would use something like (SUM([Sales]) - LOOKUP(ZN(SUM([Sales])),-1))/LOOKUP(ZN(SUM([Sales])),-1). The ZN would place a Zero if there is no return.
It was not a sum I want. I would like to show the details of persons ( not only the count) that are the adds to this week and also the persons that leave the company ( the details of individuals)
I can't use any date field. It would be simply the week over week change I need to show in tableau which is currently maintained in excel
Could you upload a workbook demo to review? Have you tried creating two datasets and then joining those data sets into a combination set? Change the combination from inner join to a full join. Are you able to merge the two excel sheets as one data source?
No I have not tried that.
I will try to upload the file.

I would like show comparing the 2 reports " adds to the company" as H,I, J with their details and "Leaves the company" as A, B with their details.
