This is possible in Tableau by using pivot and lod.
I attached a sample workbook.
In order to use pivot, I need to edit datasource.
Since the data source excel is not attached, I copied the data and pasted the data to tableau desktop from clipboard.

So each plant is cross-joined with each season and a season flag indicates if it blooms in that season or not. The season sort allows us to put the seasons in logical sense (spring, summer, fall, winter) in the viz. And finally, the FIXED LOD allows us to aggregate to the lowest detail of plant and season. If that aggregation (which should always only be one record) contains a value of 1 for the season flag, then it is a hit and the graphic is displayed. Very good thank you Lei Chen
