How to highlight max value either in row or column

    Paula Sims

      Hi there,

I'm a total newbie in Tableau so forgive me if this is an obvious answer.

I have data that shows total sales between regions. Each region can sell to other regions as well as within region. I have set up the data that it only shows the following  (sample)

      ItemSelling RegionBuying RegionUnits

      Shoes

      WestSouth25
      ToysEastWest10
      CarsNorthEast15

Here are the results I want

      1. Each max value in the row is highlighted (eventually I'll want the max in the column too)

      2. Where the buying region = selling region, black out that square

      NorthSouth
      EastWest
      North157
      South225
      East15810
      West32510

I'm also showing row and column totals and I've converted the table to show %of row totals and another sheet with %column totals.

Thanks so much for any help you can provide
