# How to calculate Countd(orderid)

In the following attachment i hav region and order id

region,orderid

east,100

west,200

west,100

east,300

when i calculate countd(orderid ) it will get count as 4 but i need 3 only

and my question is when ever the order id is same for both regions i need to calculate only east region, if not calculate both regions

• ###### 1. Re: How to calculate Countd(orderid)

Use the COUNTD function, it will return 3.

According to this requirement, I created a calculated field to get min region ("east" < "west").

Thank You Lie

Suppose if region order is changed to west and east in that time also it will calculate only east region ids

Hi Jilani!

If this is what you are looking for according to Lei then you will get the output without writing calculation. Below is the screenshot of the same.
