I'm not noticing is on my screen.
Do you have a picture or a packaged workbook that we can test it on our desktop?
I'm using 9.3 as well
Hmmm. That is strange!
Would what you are putting on the color shelf cause this?
There are two blue dots that I am seeing as well, instead of the others being black. They also may even be slightly bigger?
I am putting lat/longs on the color shelf is all? I would think that would be a fairly standard field on color. Was wondering why the nuance in color shade.
yes that is the dimension - how to fix or change? lat/long on color not ideal? what if i dont have a zip code..
Hard to tell without the data source in front of me. But if you have something like County you can also drop that on the color shelf?
You could also work with different Map Layers: Top Ribbon > Map > Map Layers and test that out.
Another thing is to use MapBox and create the background there: Tableau + Mapbox integration | Mapbox
Last but not least, is you can always change the underlying data source to include County, ZipCode, etc.
Hope this helps!
Will give them a try..wish i could use mapbox, no access yet for me. heard it is cool. thanks, very helpful.
