color shading on maps-slight diff in shade of color

      Happy Holidays to forums!

I have noticed that when mapping in tableau and using color to differentiate various counties (and overlay data points on the map using dual axis function), the counties that have a data point within the county is shaded slightly darker in color than those counties that do not have a data point. It is the same color I have selected from the marks card, but slightly darker or lighter depending on if a data point resides or not. You can see this even more clearly when you post the view to Server.

I am working in 9.3 desktop and server.

Does anyone have a solution? If you are working in a later version do you still see this nuance in color shade?

      Thanks,

      Angie
