Its difficult to get you a solution without looking at the .twbx file. However, I just want to highlight is 'you' can decide how cluster analysis is actually done. Tableau uses a measure by default for cluster anlaysis, you can override it.
Pls attach .twbx and I can help.
Hello, Sujay. Thanks for the quick response. I will have to get with the IT dept to make sure I can attach the TWBX file. in the mean time, I have tried changing the cluster variables, their order and removing one at a time and it does not seem to make much difference. The problem that I face is that Tableau is clustering the kwh but I want it to cluster kwh of the whole 24 hour time series basically treating the 48 kwh readings as an individual entity that is clustered with other 24 hour time series. Are there other variables to the Clustering feature that I am missing? is there a way to condition the data so that it keeps the time series from fragmenting?
