Do you have a Cassandra+Spark cluster? If so, you could use the Spark SQL connector. There are a few best practices outlined here - 3 things you should know when using the DataStax ODBC driver to connect Tableau with Apache Cassandra
Other than that, I suggest contacting DataStax about the ODBC driver if that route continues to be a problem.
I hope that helps.

I joined few cassandra table in tableau which in total has more that 30 dimension and measures,
and total no of records exceeding 5Lac and I am able to create view successfully and my join extract also refresh successfully.
I guess the issue is with the driver you are using, can you just redo that with another driver

I am trying to connect to Cassandra through Tableau via a Spark Thrift Server. I am trying to join 7 tables in Tableau which runs fine in Tableau without aggregation but when I run the same query in the database it crashes. I want to know where does the data get stored when we retrieve data from Cassandra via Tableau.
Is there any document which explains how the connection works.
Please suggest. Thanks!
I can able to connect the spark thrift server via spark sql, but unnable to view any keyspace which is available in hive/cassandra.
Could you please help me to understand how to connect cassandra via spark thrift server.
