1 of 1 people found this helpfulI have moved this question to the Server Administration area of the forums. There are several resources related to custom admin views of Tableau Server data that can be found linked here:: Tableau Server Resources in the Monitoring and Management section.
And here are several workbooks showing Tableau Server views in workbooks that have already been configured and documented:
I hope that helps.

2 of 2 people found this helpfulThe workbook I posted here is the tabbed admin views:
I have the workbook saved in my Admin project so end users can't see it (via permissions). I then put the Email Link of the report onto our Tableau administration SharePoint site to display the tabbed admin reports for everyone in the admin permission group to see (bottom-most viz)

3. Re: Tableau Views statistics using _ViewStats and the admin view
aqua.lover Dec 9, 2016 7:34 AM (in response to Toby Erkson)Hi Toby, Thank you very much! This helps a lot. I was given all the admin views as extracts so I can play with them.
Quick question, I am currently showing the stats using the Audit Table.
However the audit table shows me all data even for deleted workbooks. I would like to be able to 'point' which workbooks / worksheets were deleted .
To do this I would like to create some sort of calculated field that says: for each workbook, if there is an Action event that is 'Deleted Worbook' then Workbook status = 'deleted' else 'active'.
Same for the views: for each view, if there is an action event that is 'deleted sheet' then worksheet status = deleted' else active.
Is there a way to do this? I can only use the Audit Table and the filters.
Thanks a lot!
Cheers

Thank you for your answer. The links helped me a lot.
I have now another problem which I asked Toby below. But maybe you can also help me (I don't know if I should post another question simply on this though).
Again thank you for your help!
Cheers

Glad you could get your hands on them.
Regarding your question, please start a new topic and provide specifics (for example, I don't know what you mean by "Audit Tables").
