    Flagging and Tracking New Customers

      Hello Fellow Tableau'rs!


      I'm trying to figure out a way to flag new customers in Tableau based on our company's definition of a new customer.  We've defined a new customer as not having any revenue in the past 6 months.  They continue to be considered a new customer until they hit the 7th month.  For example, customer is flagged in July of 2015 as being new (no revenue prior to July 2015) and continues to be flagged as being a new customer in July, August, September, October, November and December data.  When January 2016 rolls around this customer is no longer flagged as being a new customer.  At the end of the day I am trying to measure how many new customers we have in a given and what their revenue contribution is to the total revenue base.  I've attached a workbook that has some mock data that I'm hoping I can get a hand with.
