Have you tried updating the Tool Tip.
Select the ToolTip and update it with the name as No of Records:
Thanks for the reply! That is currently what I'm doing now to solve it.
I have indeed checked there. This is so strange as it is not a "local" worksheet problem. Across the entire workbook whenever I add "Number of Records" to the text or Tooltip shelf it defaults to "Survery Responded".
even if i add <All Fields> to the tooltip this is still the issue.
Do you know if there is a setting somewhere that I am missing? It's not frustrating in the slightest - quiet funny actually.
(PS: end of work day. will reply tomorrow)
It is indeed just 1.
If i duplicate number of records and use that field instead, the tooltip returns to normal and says "Number of Records"

open your workbook in a text editor (such as notepad++ w/the language set to XML) and search for "Survery"
the XML elements/properties should make the source of the issue obvious.
There are only two places that it shows up. here is the code for both:
<alias key='"[sqlproxy.0d2ac930z7rch31838f0t0mh6p9t].[sum:Number of Records:qk]"' value='Survery Responded' />
<alias key='"[repoItem6687439628633504939].[sum:Number of Records:qk]"' value='Survery Responded
Can you somehow alias "Number of Records" ????
AFAIK, not directly. i tried and couldn't figure out how to alias number of records.
your xml seems to indicate that the alias isn't for the number of records measure directly
instead, it appears to be specific to sum(number of records) for a sql connection.
somewhere in the desktop ui, you should be able to use the alias manager to reset/remove the alias
if not, then cut the above from your file (be sure to save a copy first!)
that should do the job.
