Hi there Ram,
Could you include some more details, including a packaged workbook perhaps?
Usually * values turn up in your totals when you are using an AGG() calculation...is this the case here?
Are you blending data sources in Tableau? If so, that could be causing your issue.
Looking at this, do you have a field called 'Net Amount' that is the sum of the different column values? (I can't tell from your screenshot how your workbook is laid out.)
If so, does adding the wrapper function ZN() - turning NULL values to 0 - fix the issue?
Thanks for the update. I tried to replace 'Net Amount' with ZN it did replace the blank rows with 0 but no values are showing up in grand total any more. I tried to create a calculated field based on 'Net Amount' but it says "Argument to SUM(Aggregate function) is already an aggregate, and cannot be further aggregated.
How could I filter out rows that are non zero now?
Ram, attach a packaged workbook (even with anonymized data) , and we will figure this thing out! : )
