Filter using something like IN(string) using County selection on map

I have a US map with counties and what I would like to do is on selection of a county or counties on the map filter the data on a field that has several counties in it. It works fine with a one to one relationship on the map but I'm also using the data with custom geo-coding so I don't want to pull the data out into more detailed breakdown of one row per county.

Here is an example of what I'm trying to do:

      Selection of County

      ND - Cass

      Data

      Company,Location,Valid Counties

      Company ABC, ND ,"Cass,Barnes,Griggs"

Company XYZ, ND," Traill, Steele, Griggs"

      Company 123, MN, "Clay, Cass"

When Cass county ND is selected I would like Company ABC and Company 123 to be included.

The reason the data isn't listed by County is that the Company is geocoded and shows up as marks on the map and I don't want the companies to show more than once. I'm using a dual-axis map with the a filled map having counties shaded from a $ amount and the other map is geo locations of the companies displayed as pins. On a side note I'd also like to figure out a way to not use the custom geocoding as it makes the packaged workbook huge.

      Any ideas?

      Thanks,

      Ryan
