are you using AD integrated security within Tableau? And is the user defined within TS with the proper domain cmamdm?

Yep, I figured out the issue and it had to do with specifying the site. My user didn't have access to the default site.
I put together this page

“If you see an "Invalid user" message
in the log file and a user exists on Tableau Server, in most cases
the user does not have permissions to the site specified in the ticket
Once I specified the site, or added permission to the default site I started getting tickets. Thanks for responding.
