# 100% newbie calculate need help calculated field

Normally all my data is easy to use and structured so I don’t need to change anything. But in this case I need to create a calculated field that return either YES or NO

So my data is box measurements looking like this

1: 80 x 60 x 15, 15kg   what I am interested in is 80 x 60 x 15 this is the sizes of the boxes.

Now the highest of the 3 measurements is = A   Then next measurement is = B  Third and smallest = C

((2xB)+(2xC))+A   =>   330 then result is YES   All others will be NO

And to make it even more fun there can be multiple boxes in one shipment and if one of those boxes is YES then I need YES for that shipment..

So if 4 boxes in one shipment and one is YES then the result is YES

If more boxes they always are marked by a nr like below here is 4 boxes.

1: 30 x 30 x 15, 15kg2: 30 x 30 x 15, 15kg3: 30 x 30 x 15, 15kg4: 30 x 30 x 15, 15kg

If anyone can fix this i am a happy camper thank you so much…

oh and hoping i did this right posting it here.

You'll need to parse out the numbers so that you can use them in a calculation.

Something life this:

Left(Right(Left("1: 80 x 60 x 15, 15kg",15),12),2) = 80

Create all three, then you can create your Yes/No indicator.

Hope this helps!
