Nothing really changes in terms of the ports used between 9.3, and 10, so I'm not sure what the network admin is thinking and/or worried about. I'd suggest someone ask the network admin "Why?" - perhaps there is some business policy in place that requires a review after any major upgrade?
That is what I suspected.
I am going to ask them to put me in contact with their network admin and see if it a business policy or if there is another reason behind it.
