Bring your laptops!  Our next San Diego Tableau User Group meeting will be an opportunity to share any interesting development techniques you have with the group.  Note that it doesn't matter if you came up with the techniques on your own.  If you find something in a Tableau blog that you think is cool, you can present that.  If you learned something during a Jedi session at the Tableau conference, you can present that.

Note also that you don't have to present if you don't want to.  Perhaps you're just learning Tableau or you're not comfortable presenting, feel free to just sit and take notes or follow along with the examples on your laptop.  Questions are always encouraged so don't be shy.

For those who would like to present, please bring a USB stick with a sample dataset so that attendees can follow along if they'd like.

Remember that there will be attendees of all skill levels so techniques don't have to be super high-level.  For example, if you just learned how to assign custom shapes to field values, you can present that.  New users may not have seen it before and experienced users may be able to discuss how to take it to the next level.

We hope to see you there!
