If no, then couple of questions:
- What Tableau version are you using?
- What OS version/bitness are you using?
- Can you share the log file?
- Is there a *.dmp file in the log folder? If yes, can you share that (i.e. dropbox link)?

Chandan Gupta Sah Oct 7, 2016 2:19 AM (in response to Dmitry Chirkov)Thank you very much Dmitry. I updated the Dell Recover and Backup software. And then restarted the computer, Tableau is working fine now. I am able to connect to files.
If I still face problems, I will send you *.DMP file.
