Seems like this field is coming straight from database/data, is it? If yes - is it still there?
No, this column, is_mark_total is not from the database. I guess it is a Tableau field, used to show Grand Total at the column level.

I see we had an issue that was addressed by developers and I'm just tracking down which release it is going out with.

Got response from Tableau support. They suggested,
Upgrade to Tableau Desktop 10.0.1. For more information, please see:

Try one of the the following alternative workarounds below:
• With relational data source: use the Show In/Out option for the set in the view
• With cube: create a calculated field to define the set and use it
• Leave the filters as they are, however use the underlying field for the set in place of the set on the view.
I upgraded to 10 and it worked. Also, tried third bullet under option 2 to solve the issue.
