I'm creating a dashboard for a client, and I don't want them to be able to select a specific value in a filter on the dashboard page.
I'm filtering on semesters and the current options are Fall 2008, Fall 2009, Fall 2010, and Fall 2011. Fall 2008 should not be an option that they can choose because it happens to not make sense with the graph & data I'm showing.
So, I added a filter on the dashboard so the client can click on the semester they want & thus change the data of the graph. I got rid of the 'All' option in the filter, as I didn't want them to be able to click 'All' either. Is there any way I can similarly take Fall 2008 off the filter on the dashboard so at least the client can't see it and click on it?
You can create a set excluding Fall 2008, and add the set to your filters shelf. It will automatically remove the value from your quick filter.
