# Join two options from a filter as one single option.

Hi

I have a filter that show data from the selected month, what I want to to is to create a filter that show two months at the same time, for example, I have September, October, November and December, so what I need is that my filter goes like " September & October" and "November and December" So I can select any of this options from the dropdown list menu.

Some help on this will be appreciated

Thanks

you can write an If statement like below:

(IF MONTH([Date])=1 OR MONTH([Date])=2

THEN 'Jan & Feb-'

ELSE

'rest-'

END )

+ str(YEAR(([Date])))

You'll have to write 6 combinations instead of rest and add that calc as filter.

Hi Jonathan ..Try this

The Calculation for this is:

IF

[ID]=1 OR [ID]=2

THEN 'Jan & Feb'

ELSEIF

[ID]=3 OR [ID]=4

THEN 'Mar & Apr'

ELSEIF

[ID]=5 OR [ID]=6

THEN 'May & Jun'

ELSEIF

[ID]=7 OR [ID]=8

THEN 'Jul & Aug'

ELSEIF

[ID]=9 OR [ID]=10

THEN 'Sep & Oct'

ELSEIF

[ID]=11 OR [ID]=12

THEN 'Nov & Dec'

END

Which will give you this drop down filter. Hope, it helps.

Thanks

Deepak
