# Range of Values Minimum - Maximun

Hello Tableau Users,

Can anyone please help me in showing range of minimum to Maximum Percentages in one Cell..I know we can calculate the min % and Max % and then Concatenate them both "min % - max %". is there any other work around without converting them string.

I have pasted a small samplemock up below.

Appreciate the help once again

 PA IL Range of Profit 0.25 % - 0.56% 0.23% - 0.96%

Thanks

Hi Chakradhar! One option you have is to calculate the minimum and maximum and then put them both on the Text or Labels mark. Then, edit the label itself and put them on the same line with a minus sign between them.

You're welcome! If that worked for you, could you please mark it as correct so it no longer shows up as unanswered? Thanks!

I Have a similar problem. my values in one column like

col1

250

400

500

600

I need output like

col1    col2

250    250-399

400   400-499

500    500-599

600     600+

Column values can be changed, basically what I need is, we need display value range using the next row value.

Can any one help on this?

Hi Vamshi! You could try something like this:

IF LAST() > 0 THEN

STR(SUM([col1])) + "-" + STR(LOOKUP(SUM([col1]), 1) - 1)

ELSE

STR(SUM([col1])) + "+"

END

This needs to compute along Table Down or col1.
